Geological Archive

The Estonian Geological Archive contains the reports of geological investigations carried out in Estonia.

The material of the Geological Archive is collected exclusively in digital form. Authors themselves can upload their reports and work into the archive. All compiled reports, conducted investigations and gathered underlying data by the geology experts and enterprises operating in the field are awaited to be submitted in the geological archive.

Facts about the Geological Archive

More than 45,000 archival documents are already stored in the archive.

The data collection contains:

  • geological reports, from 1923 onward
  • geotechincal reports, from 1944 onward
  • registry cards of drilled wells, 1945-2009
  • consolidated balance sheets of mineral reserves, 1945-2005
