The Estonian Geological Archive contains the reports of geological investigations carried out in Estonia.
The material of the Geological Archive is collected exclusively in digital form. Authors themselves can upload their reports and work into the archive. All compiled reports, conducted investigations and gathered underlying data by the geology experts and enterprises operating in the field are awaited to be submitted in the geological archive.

Facts about the Geological Archive
More than 7600 archival documents are already stored in the archive.
The data collection contains:
- geological reports, from 1923 onward
- registry cards of drilled wells, 1945-2009
- consolidated balance sheets of mineral reserves, 1945-2005

Digitizing of the geological archive
The project of digitizing the Estonian Geological Archive was financed through EU Regional Development Fund means and state support. The total cost of the project was 369 523.80 €.
More than 736 000 pages and 7000 spatial geometries were digitized, and software of the archive was developed.
