All participants also delivered poster presentations.

The poster presentation by Siim Nirgi and Alvar Soesoo was titled “Precambrian iron-sulphide mineralization in NE Estonia”. Sten Suuroja gave presentation “Problematic rock complexes in the planned FinEst tunnel route”, senior geologists Kalle Suuroja and Anu Veski and hydrogeologist Siim Tarros also contributed to this presentation. Three posters compiled within the GroundEco project were presented at the General Assembly. The poster by Inga Retike (Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre, lead partner of the project) “Development of joint methodology for groundwater dependent terrestrial ecosystem identification and assessment in transboundary area (Estonia–Latvia)” summarised the project’s content. Andis Kalvans (University of Latvia) and Siim Tarros introduced the study carried out in the pilot areas „Groundwater dependent terrestrial ecosystems in hemi-boreal climate: two pilot studies“, and Jaanus Terasmaa (Tallinn University) made a poster presentation “Methodology for the identification and assessment of groundwater dependent ecosystems in Estonia”.
