The first year of our institution has been fruitful, and we keep on being active. We have started with several projects essential for the state, organized joint training, instructed young people, signed contracts of co-operation with the Universities of Tartu and Tallinn, and commenced several international co-operational projects. We have organized geoscientific conferences, and our staff have made presentations in both domestic and international conferences.
